Not sure what you mean by platform pages but we can send the following content types to mobile devices, images, vouchers, videos, audio, applications, vcard, vcal and web links. Does this answer your question?

I am afraid without downloading an application to the phone their is no way to initiate an SMS in a way that would be acceptable to the user.
